Ojos Negros Playground and Park
Nick noticed that there was an open piece of land across from where his truck of donated goods was unloaded (See Food and Clothing Drive) in the small town of Ojos Negros. He asked the local people what it was and they told him it was a park. There was nothing but an open piece of land with no play structure or park amenities to be seen. Nick wanted to change this immediately. He placed a call to find how much it would cost to install new playground equipment, gave a deposit, and returned with the rest of the money after the installation was complete. Over all Nick donated more than $4000 to create a safe and comfortable environment for the children of Ojos Negros to play. The town presented Nick and his AOK crew with delicious food and a fiesta as a way of thanking him.
